Your Greyhound must be on a leash whenever it is outdoors, unless it is in a completly fenced in area. Never trust your Greyhound not to run away.
You must keep identification on you Greyhound at all times. This must include your name and a way to contact you.
You are required to contact OGRR if your Greyhound ever becomes lost.This should be done immediatly.
You may NOT give your Greyhound to anyone else without OGRR's approval. If you should ever decide you cannot keep or do not want the Greyhound you must return it to OGRR.
You agree that you will NEVER take your Greyhound to a "Pound" or "Humane Shelter."
Ohio Greyhound Retired Racers is a non-profit organization primarily funded by donations. A minimum donation of $200 is requested for each Greyhound adopted (payable when the application is approved).This donation will help with the expenses associated with the pre-adoption care of the Greyhound. This donation is non-refundable even if the Greyhound is returned.
This application if approved becomes part of the Greyhound Adoption Contract.
